24:22. একবারও রাজা য়োযাশ তাঁর প্রতি সখরিয়র পিতা যাজক যিহোয়াদার করুণার কথা মনে করলেন না| মারা যাবার আগের মূহুর্তে সখরিয় বললেন, “প্রভু যেন তোমার এই অপরাধ দেখতে পান এবং তোমাকে এর য়োগ্য শাস্তি দেন|”

24:22. King Joash disregarded the loyalty his father Jehoiada had shown him and killed Jehoiada's son. As Zechariah was dying, he said, "May the LORD take notice and seek vengeance!"

24:22. That was how King Joash repaid Jehoiada for his loyalty-- by killing his son. Zechariah's last words as he died were, "May the LORD see what they are doing and avenge my death!"
